Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as practical. Depending on how you access the site, contact us, or use account features, the following may be processed:

• Technical and log data. Our hosting or CDN provider may automatically receive IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages requested, and timestamps. This data is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4, property G-5D0DSNWJBM) to collect aggregated metrics such as page views, approximate location, device/browser type, and referring URLs. Google processes that data under its own terms; see Google’s privacy documentation for details. Analytics runs site-wide, including on About, Get in Touch, Privacy, and Terms pages.
• Advertising. On catalog pages (home, games, and controllers), we show Google AdSense ads. AdSense and its partners may collect or receive information about your visits to this and other sites to serve relevant ads. Ads are not shown on About, Get in Touch, Privacy, or Terms pages.
• Communications. If you use our Get in Touch form or otherwise contact us, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your name, email address, and message). The form is hosted by Tally; Tally processes submissions under its own privacy practices.
• Account and profile data (when available). If you create or sign in to an account, we may collect credentials or authentication identifiers (for example email address, hashed password or tokens from an identity provider), display name, and settings you choose. If you save games or other items to your profile, we store those associations with your account so we can show them when you return.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data through the public directory pages. Account features, if offered, are limited to operating your profile and saved content on the Site.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Deliver and maintain the website and its content
• Monitor reliability, abuse, and security
• Understand aggregate traffic so we can improve navigation and listings
• Respond if you contact us
• Provide optional account features (sign-in, profile, and saving games or preferences) when those features are available
• Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the Site

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies or use similar storage to measure traffic and serve or personalize ads. Essential cookies or local storage may also be used by the hosting platform, content delivery network, authentication provider, or your browser for basic operation, security, and keeping you signed in when accounts are available.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, limit Google Analytics via Google’s opt-out tools where available, and adjust ad personalization in Google’s ad settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how certain infrastructure, measurement, ad, or sign-in features work.

Outbound links, affiliates, and third parties

Listings may link to third-party sites such as the App Store, manufacturer pages, or retailers (including Amazon product pages). Those sites have their own privacy practices. When you leave MFi Games, their policies apply.

MFi Games is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Some retailer links are affiliate links (Amazon Associates tag mfig-20 or a successor tag). If we earn a commission from a purchase, that does not change what personal data we collect on this site; Amazon or the retailer still processes the purchase under their own terms and privacy policies.

Other processors we rely on may include our hosting/CDN provider, Google (Analytics and AdSense), Tally (contact form), and—when accounts launch—an authentication or database provider used to store account and saved-game data securely.

Apple and trademarks

MFi Games is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, iPhone, iPad, App Store, MFi, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc. References to Apple products and marks are for identification only and do not imply any partnership or official status.

Data retention

Server and security logs are retained only as long as needed for operations, debugging, and abuse prevention (typically short periods unless a security investigation requires longer). Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and manage the request. Account credentials, profile settings, and saved games are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure or deletion requests, unless a longer period is required for security, dispute resolution, or law.

Children

The site is a general-audience directory about games and controllers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Account features, when available, require users to meet the minimum age described in our Terms of Service. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it where applicable.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. For browsing without an account, many requests relate to logs or correspondence. If you have an account, you may also be able to update profile information in-product or request deletion of your account and saved data. Contact us to exercise applicable rights; we may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.

International visitors

The site may be hosted or cached in regions different from where you live. By using the site, you understand that information described above may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site, hosting, analytics, advertising, affiliate practices, or account features change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes affecting account holders may also be noted on the Site or by email when we have an address for you.
